2026 AGM

The second half of our 2026 season is now well under way with games at El Plantío and Alenda already behind us. Before you know it, we will be playing our last games of the season in December. We will be playing at Poniente on the 2nd December. When we get there, we plan to hold our AGM in the clubhouse after that game.

Please go to the Events page on the App and scroll down to 2026 AGM. There, you will find details about the Event, the Agenda (click show more), and the Discussion page.

There are three items on the Agenda where you can make a contribution, if you wish. Thought and preparation beforehand will make for a positive meeting, and informed decision making, so we encourage you to have your say.

The three items are:

Item 3. Approval of Minutes from previous AGM and matters arising.

Go to the Discussion page (click "see more" for the full text). There you will find the 2025 Minutes, and a summary of what we need to do. Please give them a read through. If you want to raise anything relating to these Minutes, please do so using the methods suggested. Before the 31st October 2026 please.

Item 6. Election of Committee Members.

Still on the Discussion page (click "see more" for the full text). If you want to put your name forward for any of the Committee roles, please do so, as requested, before the 31st October 2026.

Item 8. AOB

Once again, on the Discussion page (click "see more" for the full text). Please table your questions or proposals, as requested, before the 31st October 2026 please.

We have one on the table already:

1. Winner takes all prizes for team events.

   Comment: We should be playing for fun, not big prizes. Proposal: No big prize for winners only. Continue with Winner and Runner Up prizes.

Even if you cannot attend the AGM, you can still contribute. Have your say. Put a comment on the Discussion Page or send a WhatsApp to, or email, The Captain. If we can make the Society better, let's do it.

Your Committee will review all comments, suggestions, proposals, nominations etc at a Committee Meeting on the 13th November. They will prepare responses, recommendations etc to be presented at the AGM.

To ensure an orderly and timely AGM, we will adhere strictly to Agenda items only.
