Colin Grant

Very sad news. Just heard that Colin passed away this afternoon. For those that had the pleasure of knowing him, and playing with him, this will come as a shock. We knew he was battling a serious illness, but we always thought that he would pull through.

For those that didn't get the chance to meet him, you missed a wonderful golfer and a generous and lovely man.

He will be missed. A sad loss to our Society and to Levante. Our thoughts are with Maggie and Colin's family at this time.

A very sad loss… such a nice man .. Always enjoyed playing a round of golf with Colin, with Whitecoast, Levante and a frequent friendly 4-ball at Poniente.. Will miss him very much, as many will..

This is very sad news. Colin was the kindest gentleman, a classy golfer, always friendly and in a good mood. He called my good shots ‚lovely‘ and just ignored my bad shots. I loved to play with him in the same flight. He will be missed and will stay forever in our hearts. Condolences to his wife and family.

My problem with Colin is that I didn't get the chance to play alongside him enough. Lovely, gentle man who loved his golf. Thanks for the memory, Colin. Condolences to Maggie and family.
