Games are coming up thick and fast now, so we just wanted to summarise for you so that you can plan your golfing schedule.
Bonalba 29/04
POTY and handicap qualifier. Full complement of 20 players now, including 2 new prospective members. Please make them feel welcome. Kevin Bennett and Paul Stansfield. Remember, cash on the day please.
Alenda 13/05
A break from POTY. We will be playing a FourballBB Stableford competition. We currently have 7 pairs and we are looking for at least 9 pairs, hopefully 12. If you haven't got your name down for this one already, please RSVP via our Spaces App asap.
Levante 20/05
Back to POTY and handicap qualifying, and just one week after ther last game, instead of the normal 2. Unfortunately, green fees and buggy costs are high for this one. The good news is that they are still much lower than current advertised prices. In a curious way, we are getting a "bargain". You can RSVP via the Spaces App for this game now if you wish.
La Sella 27/05
Our one and only visit, and an early start as usual here. Another individual Staleford competition that will count towards POTY and a handicap qualifier. To help with your planning, you can RSVP via the App for this game now, as well. Go on, you know you want to play at La Sella!
La Galiana 10/06
Arguably, everyones favourite course. Back to our normal 2 week cycle. Details of this game will be posted nearer the time.
Other News - Costa Blanca League
Our league team played their 4th game of the campaign at El Bosque on Thursday 23rd April against tough opponents Denia. The match ended in a 4-4 draw with two stand-out wins by Ben Wilcock/Simon Parry (7&6), and Tony Bowers/Andy Price (5&4).
The team, under the leadership of KC Christoph Dünwald, remains unbeaten after 4 games. The league will resume again in September, after the summer break.
