

Bobble Hats and Shorts
It was a good look on the first tee. The girls looked great. The blokes looked, mmmm?? At the start of the game, it was much colder than anyone expected, or was prepared for. Hardy souls though, booble hats on, off we go. We had quite a few members playing their first game of the season. We welcomed back, Russ Hedges, Chrissie Banstead, Merrick Robinson, and Casper Moerbeek. It was particularly good to see Casper back after his serious injury late last year. And Doug K

The Spare Wednesday Group (SWG)
This is a new group established to play friendly four ball games on a Wednesday when there is no Society game scheduled. It is aimed, predominantly, at White Coast Members, and you may have heard of it. This Post is just to clarify that SWG is a seperate entity from White Coast Golf Society, and that it operates independently.

Committee Meeting - 27th March
The Committee met today to review a number of items: Annual Subscriptions & Subsidies Handicap Allowences Tiebreaks Annual Subscriptions & Subsidies You will remember that the subscription was increased to €50 after a vote at the AGM on the 10th December 2025. This was in response to an overspend of €680 in 2025. Farewell to Basil
We were supposed to be playing at Bonalba. But, it's not there anymore. The course is, but the clubhouse has gone. We ended up meeting, greeting and awarding, outside, sat by a couple of catering vans. Good job it wasn't raining. It didn't trouble us. We were teeing off behind a sea of green St Patrick's Day golfers, music blaring and all. And that didn't trouble us, either. We went out, played well, scored well, and enjoyed ourselves.
