Yes, the pairs for our Texas Scramble at Levante were picked by AI, as against TI. We asked for a semi-balanced random draw and, save for one minor tweak, that's what we got;

• no pair overwhelmingly strong

• no pair obviously weak

• every pair with a player capable of contributing a good drive

• random enough not to be seen as "fixed"

• has to be played in blazing hot sunshine

It was, after all, our first pairs scramble. We think it worked out but feel free to comment on this Post.

League Squad Summertime Specials

Christoph has arranged games for 8 players at Alicante (22/7) and Galiana (12/08). Both these games are full but please get in touch with Christoph if you would like to go on his standby list. duenwaldchristoph@gmail.com

Our first game back after the summer break and it will be an individual Stableford handicap and POTY qualifier. Looks like we will have a few quarter final knock out matches being played on that day as well.

Alenda. 16th September. Captain's Day.

This is definately a date to put on your calendar now. We will be playing Fourball (Pairs BB, match-play) with an international twist. It's a bit of a cliche, but you really don't want to miss this one. More details as we get closer.
